We feel blessed for being able to call Janet our Aunt. Whenever we went to camp, she was one of the relatives we knew that we would see. As a kid, I had a hard time relating to the cousins as a southerner, but Aunt Janet always tried to encourage me to try new things so that I felt more comfortable. As a grown man, she was one of the first to meet my wife, Julie. She welcomed her with open arms and, although Julie felt a bit intimidated by her at first, she was one person Julie would always want to go see whenever we went up. I'm grateful that she was able to meet both my children and we will miss her the next time we come up.
We pray for Perry, Stacy, Ryan and Lyndsay and their families. Our deepest condolences and we are sorry that we are not there in person.
May she rest in peace after her hard fought battle.
