With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Andre Baron. He Passed away suddenly at home with his wife by his side on November 6, 2018 in his 77th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Odette for 55 years. Loving father of Marcel (Michelle) of Thessalon, Chad (Stepheny) of North Bay, Bigette (Sam) of Sault Ste Marie, and Ron (Tanya) of Thessalon}. Special Papa to Chantalle, William, Sammy, Sydney, Christa, Jacques, Bradley, Anthony, Peighton, Noah, Lora, John, Hope, Cali, Edan, and Kylie, Savannah and Austin. Great Grandpa to Layla, Addy, and Baby Liam. Dear son of the late Alphonse and Laura Baron of Quebec. Dear brother of Jean-Louis (Lise) of Quebec and Claire (Late Leo) of Timmins and Brother-in-law Ron (Debbie), Jeannine, Aliette, Andre (Lanel), Elaine (Larry), Roger, Nicole (Chris), Claire (Gary), Bert (Barb), Rose, Darlena and the late Claude, Adrien, Arnold, Hugette (Renald), Geiven, Jean Guy and Lisette. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Friday November 9, 2018 from 7 to 9pm. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 2pm with Father Ignatius Xavier officiating. André was the very best father, husband, father in law, Great grandfather, grandfather, brother, friend and all-around man. You have never met a more hard-working man in your life. From Logging to Construction, there was not a machine he could not operate. Gone way too soon and will be missed dearly. A special thanks to the Rebekah ladies for providing a luncheon, and to Beggs Funeral home for all their help and guidance through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully accepted for the charity of your choosing in Andre’s memory.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 211 Bruce Mines are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Friday November 9 at 6:45pm for a memorial service for their late Comrade André Baron
