Obituary for Ronald James Ralph

Ronald James Ralph
Ralph, Ronald James
With all of his strength and determination through his battle with Lewy Body Dementia, Ron, age 66, passed away peacefully November 24, 2017 with his supportive wife Anita and daughter Robyn by his side at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care Home in Shelburne Ont. Beloved Husband of Anita Witkowski, and the late Marion Ralph, Father to Rachel Ralph (Adolfo Gonzalez Albarracin) and Robyn Ralph (Josh Wellman). Son to the late Ken Ralph and Claire Camirand.. Very Special Brother, Brother-in-law, and Uncle to the Ralph, St. Pierre, and Witkowski families. Ron, lovingly known as Farmer, was one fighter that you couldn't knock down. He had the most fulfilling life in that he did whatever, whenever he wanted to. Known as a stubborn man and hard worker with a good sense of humor and sharp wit about him, he started his life as an asbestos worker and welder, and in his retirement years followed his passion for farming and was a Freemason. His family and friends will remember him for many things including his love for Lake Matinenda, fishing, hunting, horses, music, travel, and sports. Ron has requested a burial only. The internment will be held in Blind River at the Hillside cemetery, Thursday Nov 30 ,2017 at 11 am, with a celebration of life to follow at the Riverside Tavern in Blind River from 12- 4 pm. As a family, we are thankful for our family and friends who have showed us their support over the last 6 years. A special thank you goes out to the staff at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care and Baycrest Health Sciences. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Dufferin Oaks, 151 Centre St, Shelburne, ON L9V3R7, in Ron's name.
