It is with great sadness that the Cada family announces the loss of Sharon on October 26, 2017. At this time the family would like to thank the many people at the Blind River District Health Centre who supported Sharon and provided services for her in recent years. Sharon was a passionate community member who spent the majority of her working career as a crisis worker for the Mississauga First Nation Women’s Shelter. Her pride and joy were her family and her pets. Sharon spent her entire life in the Blind River and Mississaugi area
She was predeceased by her best friend and partner Roger, her sisters Genevieve Boyer and Lois Chiblow as well as her brother Bruce Chiblow. She leaves behind 6 children Kevin, Brian (Lisa), Blaine, Darcy (Carol), Darren (Teresa), and Lydia (Jim). She leaves behind 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings Delores, Candice, Patsy, Terry John, Stig, Charlie, Paul Jo, Wanda, Helen and Rita. Sharon was a rock to her family and those around her including her co-workers and dear friends.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on November 3, 2017 2pm at the Mississauga First Nation Bingo Hall with feast to follow.
