MONTGOMERY Wilda Sarah Ellen
August 19th 1932 –October 1st 2017

Wilda Montgomery in her 86th year passed away peacefully at the FJDavey Home with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Leonard for 49 years. Cherished mother of Ruth Warnock (Orville) and Terry Montgomery (Kim) both of Sault Ste. Marie. Adored Grandma to Jaeson Warnock (Angela), Chris Warnock(Kyla), David Montgomery and Danika Montgomery (Darren). Great Grandma to Jazlyn (Trevor), Dylan, Kaylyn, Chrystalyn, Abby and Grayson. Great Great Grandma to Aiden and Parker. Dear daughter of the late William and Ella Harper. Sister of Lenora Gardiner(late Bill), Merle Mills (late Delbert and late Bill Burbadge), Edith Clark (late James) and Dale Harper(Nancy). Step-sister of the late Ellis, Russell, Howard Harper and the late Stella Baxter. Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Wilda grew up on Manitoulin Island but came to Iron Bridge to work and later met the love of her life. Len and Wilda settled and raised their family in Iron Bridge. Wilda will be remembered as a very kind, caring and thoughtful person to so many during her lifetime in Iron Bridge . Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Friday October 6, 2017 from 10am until time of service at 11 o’clock with The Reverend Erasmus Madimbu officiating. Interment in Spruce Grove Cemetery, Iron Bridge. A special thank you to the Staff at Pathways Retirement Home, F.J. Davey Home and Dr. Rose-Marie Gieni for her care of the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be most appreciated by the family.
